Lincolnshire Chiropractor Struck Off Following Conviction for Criminal Offence

Mr. Paul Woods, a chiropractor who practised in the Lincolnshire area, has been removed from the register by the GCC following a criminal conviction.

On 28 July 2017, Mr Woods pleaded guilty to an Indictment containing 3 Counts of making indecent photographs or pseudo-photographs of children in relation to which he was sentenced to 4 months imprisonment suspended for 12 months on each concurrent, on 1 September 2017.

The Registrant, as part of his sentence, was required to attend a Rehabilitation Requirement and pay £300 towards the costs of the prosecution. A Sexual Harm Prevention Order was imposed for a period of 7 years.

The Committee was satisfied that the only appropriate sanction to protect the public, maintain confidence in the Regulator and the profession as well as the wider public interest, is to remove Mr Woods from the Register.
