Overview

The purpose of the GCC is to protect, promote and maintain the health and safety of the public by ensuring proper standards in the practice of chiropractic.

To achieve this, one of our core legal functions is to regulate chiropractic education and training so that patients now and in the future can be confident that they will receive safe, high quality care from chiropractors. We set standards and requirements that must be met on the ground; and check that they really are met, through quality assurance activity.

In this section you can learn more about our role in chiropractic education, find out how we assure quality in education, who we work with in order to fulfil our statutory duty and read our up to date education news.
