All complaints will be investigated and normally a response will be provided within 28 days. Should the GCC identify any mistakes we will acknowledge them and remedy them as appropriate.
If we are unable to respond within 28 days because, for example, the matters raised need more detailed work, we will let you know.
If you still disagree
Once a complaint has been considered and you have been sent a response, the decision is final. The GCC will acknowledge any further correspondence from you but, unless it raises any new issues that are considered significant, the GCC will not send further replies.
Complaints about processes or decisions of the GCC's statutory committees
Any dissatisfaction with the processes or decisions of the GCC's Investigating Committee, Professional Conduct Committee or Health Committee, must be taken forward by either an Application for Judicial Review or an appeal to the relevant court.
