Appeals
There is a right of appeal to the General Council in respect of any negative decision taken by the GCC's Registrar, whether it concerns initial entry to the statutory Register of chiropractors or subsequent annual application for retention of registration.
Rather than put the appellant through the (possible) ordeal of appearing before the full Council, we set up a three-person Tribunal, acting on behalf of the Council, to hear each appeal.
Any appellant who is dissatisfied with the decision of the Tribunal has the right to appeal to the appropriate court.

Where appeals are refused
In cases where the appellant's appeal is refused, the Notice of Decision will remain on this page for a period of 28 days, after which only the person's name will remain. Please contact Emma Willis or Winnie Walsh for a copy of our information note, the relevant legislation and for any Notice of Decision.
