Council Meetings

The Council meets 4 times a year and the papers for the meetings are published on our website one day before each meeting. Meetings are held at the GCC offices and are open to the public, though there are a limited number of seats available. Council agendas are listed on the website one week before the Council meeting and papers will be available 24 hours beforehand.

Council also holds a private session for items containing personal data, matters of commercial confidentiality, discussion of the GCC's resource plans, discussion of risk to the GCC that might be exacerbated by discussion in public and matters of policy or strategy in respect of which public discussion would be premature.

 Council meeting dates for 2019

  • Tuesday 26th March
  • Thursday 27th June
  • Friday 20th September
  • Thursday 12th December

The next Council meeting will take place at the GCC offices in Kennington on Thursday 27th June.

Members of the public are welcome to attend the general Council meetings but please note that spaces are limited and will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. If you wish to attend, you will need to send a request at least five working days before the meeting by emailing [email protected] or by calling 0207 713 5155 x5504.

The agenda will be available approximately one week prior to the meeting and the papers will be available 24 hours beforehand.
