Education Visitors

The role of an Education Visitor is to assess and monitor ongoing or proposed chiropractic degree programmes, using established processes to carry out these functions.  Education Visitors analyse programme submissions and provide recommendations to the GCC Education Committee on the approval and continued quality assurance of programmes and will, on behalf of the Education Committee, conduct approval and monitoting visits as well as participate in revalidation and reviews carried out by education providers, giving expert advice and contributing to discussion and decision making.

Education Visitors report directly to the Education Committee and work as part of a panel, the size and composition will vary dependent on the focus of the visit or analysis of the programme. Education Visitors work collaboratively with other visitors, the GCC executive, education providers and other relevant stakeholders.
