What is a Letter of Authorisation?
Companies House will require a GCC Letter of Authorisation if the following words are used within a limited company application:
This requirement only extends to limited companies (Ltd). There is no requirement for a Letter of Authorisation if you use any other type of corporate structure such as a sole trader or partnership.
To obtain your Letter of Authorisation, complete the online form below. The GCC is unable to send the Letter of Authorisation directly to Companies House - you will be provided with the letter by email.
