Our clear processes to investigate allegations against chiropractors are specifically designed to protect the public.

All chiropractors must be registered with us by law before they can practise. We also require chiropractors to follow the standards within our Code of Practice which sets out clearly the expected professional and personal behaviour of chiropractors.

If we establish that a registered chiropractor falls below the standards expected of them, then their practice could be prohibited or restricted. We also have the power to remove a chiropractor from the register altogether, which means that they can no longer legally practise.
