AECC University College is seeking registrants' help in recruiting participants for their research on patient satisfaction and experience in chiropractic care. This research will be a UK-wide professional effort to showcase the UK chiropractic profession's good work.

Most healthcare professionals are regularly involved in this type of research data collection, with such research historically having a powerful and positive impact on their profession's standing.

AECC intend to start recruiting patients within the next two weeks, with the survey collection period finishing in July.

AECC is asking for registrants' help by:

  1. Including the AECC research request in your regular patient communications (ie. newsletter, letters or social media activity). The AECC will provide the words and link to the survey.
  2. Placing study posters in your clinic reception. The posters will contain QR codes and an address link to the survey for patients to complete.
  3. Asking your patients if they would like to participate in this valuable insight research.

Measuring Patient Satisfaction

The UK chiropractic profession treats hundreds of thousands of patients a year and makes a significant and positive impact on helping patients live healthier lives.

Patient satisfaction is a central measure used in the broader healthcare system to judge the value of care. Research indicates that patients rate their chiropractors highly in terms of satisfaction, often providing glowing testimonies of their treatment and experience. This generally positive metric is a crucial measure of care value and success but is not widely known by other healthcare professions or the general public.
