We are recruiting for a Fitness to Practise Caseworker
This is a great time to be joining the GCC as Fitness to Practise Caseworker as we progress our ambitious strategy, and during a time of significant change to the healthcare regulatory landscape.
Following a recent review we have redesigned the way we carry out Fitness to Practise work, putting in place new processes to enhance regulatory work such that it is efficient and effective for patients and registrants. The Fitness to Practise Caseworkers are key members of the Fitness to Practise Directorate and the successful candidate will be responsible for undertaking the investigatory / preparatory work in respect of the cases within their caseload for the Council’s less complex cases. You will also provide administrative support to enable the GCC Practice Committees (Professional Conduct, Health and Investigating) to carry out their functions as well as providing administrative support to the Fitness to Practise Investigators in managing the complex cases.
