The GCC is pleased to announce that Joe Omorodion has been appointed as the new Director of Corporate Services.
Joe will assume key responsibilities for finance, governance and corporate resource management. He is a qualified accountant and started his professional career in audit for four years before joining the not-for-profit sector 25 years ago, in which he has held positions such as Director of Finance and Operations and Director of Finance and Administration.
In the last 18 years, Joe worked for professional membership and social enterprise organisations, which included the Commonwealth Parliamentary Association Secretariat and the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists.
Joe will contribute to the delivery of GCC’s strategic, business and financial goals and ambitious work programme.
GCC’s Chief Executive and Registrar, Nick Jones welcomed Joe:
‘I am very pleased to welcome Joe to the GCC and complete the senior management team. He brings a wealth of experience and knowledge that will be invaluable to us as we navigate the challenging environment over the next few months and beyond. Joe will be engaging with key stakeholders as part of his induction in to the GCC and the landscape in which we operate. I am very grateful to Rui Domingues for providing with excellent financial expertise and support on an interim basis over the last year and wish him well with his future assignments.’
All GCC staff members are looking forward to working with Joe.
